This website seeks to promote literacy and creativity by introducing young
readers, parents, teachers, and librarians to the work of real, live
childrens authors.
A Web site of interest to those of you who write and/or illustrate
childrens books or think you might like to. It includes information on regional
workshops and conferences.
This isn't actually a site dealing with children's literature. Instead, it
deals with writing resources for teachers and provides students with an audience for their
writing.
Sharyn November edits children's books for a major publisher. Her website
includes links to children's publishers and libraries with child-oriented pages.
Go to the bottom of the screen for "Reviews of Books for Youth." If
you go to their "Booklist Editors' Choice" section, you will find a subsection
under 1997, 96, etc, entitled Adult Books for Young Adults, which may interest older
readers.
