A Girl, a Boy, and a Monster Cat: A Girl, a Boy, and a Monster Cat has been selected for the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District Horned Toad Tale List for the 2009-2010 school year.

A Girl, a Boy, and Three Robbers: We have reviews up for A Girl, a Boy, and Three Robbers. The Junior Library Guild has also presented it with its Premier Selection Award.

A Girl, a Boy, and a Monster Cat: A Girl, a Boy, and a Monster Cat has been included on the Kansas State Reading Circle 2008 Recommended Reading List

Happy Kid!: Happy Kid! has been nominated for the Georgia Children's Book Award and Oklahoma's Sequoyah Book Award. Happy Kid! has also gone into a second printing.

Attention for Vermont Books: A Guide to Fiction Set in Vermont for Children & Young Adults was published last spring by Vermont Humanities Council and includes both The Hero of Ticonderoga and Saving the Planet & Stuff.

What I'm Working on Now: The 365 Story Project. This is a series of vignettes covering a year in the life of ten-year-old Tanner Trembley and his family and friends on Middle Ridge Road.

Other Writing: Literary Mama named Mom Memory one of its 2007 Favorites in the Creative Nonfiction category.

Interviews: VerbSap and the children's Literature monthly The Edge of the Forest have posted Gail Gauthier interviews.

Connecticut Libraries and Bookstores: If you are using one of my books for a reading group, contact me about dropping by.
